Play around with it until the explosion is the size you want. I'd assume the area you want to edit is "size" under explosion_cloud (and possibly the others), but I don't have the time/inclination to test it out right not. Very easy to do, though. Just pull it out of assets1.pk3 and edit it with notepad.
