ppl have posted this before, but i am wondering if i can do something a little different.
when useing a sky texture, u can some times see object behind it depends on how far away it is. i notice that if the brush is farther away. u can see it, but if it get closer, it disapears. is there a way to increase this distance or put some into the shader file that cuts off the view pass it no matter what?
hope you know what i mean, if not, jsut ask me to explane better, but if u do, i hope u can help
Hmm I am not so sure what you are talking about, but it seems you mean a distance cull shader, simply use ShaderED (you can find it on the SDK for JA at jk2files.com)
umm never knew how to use that program. but let me just explane a little better
if you have a room right behind a sky texture. you cant see it threw the sky. but if the room is farther away, u can see it.
there has to be set somewhere not to show brushes up to a curtion distance, i am not sure where to edit that to make the distance farther
Or, in my shader file put a line in that that pervents anything to be shown threw the sky texture.
i hope that explanes a little better
and, how do i make a systems cull shader with this program?
