Uberjedi here. This is a new TC mod for JA. The story goes like this; Jaden, after turning to the dark side in JA is infused with all of the dark force energy from Marka Ragno's scepter. She then (in this story it a she) discovered the Valley of The Jedi and steals this force energy. The playable portion of the story takes place after she has stolen the force power from the Valley of The Jedi and becomes transformed into the Dark Deamoness of the Sith. I would need a team of about six people. I would need people with these talents:
- Sound FX
- Designing very detailed maps
- Designer for Web Page
Once poeple start to post I will go more into detail with this project.
Sorry to double post but I left out an important part of the story. Deamoness plays through seven maps and basiclly kills all in her path. The final level is a boss battle with Jedi Master Kyle Katarn, and Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. Deamoness will encounter a Jedi from the academy at the end of each map. The bounty hunter Boba Fett will also be hired to go after her by the New Republic (Yes bounty hunters also can be hired by good guy as long as the price is high enough). Deamonesses main weapon will be the Sith sword. A skin of Deamoness looks like (for those who have played it) Deamoness from Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, the perfect model to use for this is a Zybrak female. The only model I wil need are those of some new weapons (i.e sith sword, and a destructor rifle which does about 30 damage per shot and fifty per alternate shot. The sound will be the same except for the sounds for the destructor rifle and sith sword. A scriptor will need to somehow make the transition on the levels like on JK2 (a straight forward type of gameplay) and no character selection screen. The characters that are in the game are Chewbaca, Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker, Kyle Katarn, Noghri, Saber Droids, Numerous jedi, Prisoners, Rancors, Stormtroopers, Hazardtroopers, Probe Droids, Howlers, AT-ST, Droids, Swoop bikes, And many ships including a Z-95 and YT-1300 (The Millenium Falcon.) BTW here is what I want Deamoness to look like: Once again I hope to see some eager people joining the project team. ;)
I'd like to see some completed work, the names of the people currently on your team, and how you're planning to avoid a lawsuit with LucasArts. They won't like you using "Jedi Knight 4".
Well it's not like there would ever be a JK4, I mean, there isn't JK3 yet.

Jedi Knight 4 sounds like a part of the Jedi Knight series, so yeah. Go figure. :p
Well I guess I chould leave out the "JK4" part. It wouldn't mess with the story at all. So yeah I guess now it's officialy The Dark Chronicals of the Jedi. I will also need one or two in deapth story writers, because while I do have the main story, I need more details about it.
I love to see new SP projects, but just some advice from me.
- Don't insult people who don't like your project
- Don't expect people to flock to you
- Do keep an eye on other projects-if they fall, it frees up a lot of modders
- Do have at least some work to show people, like a script
- Don't have only sketches of characters to show
I already had some trouble with my project when it was just getting off the ground. This is just a set of advice based on what I learned with mine. Don't make my mistakes, please.
Thanks for the advice! I think I might go and work on maybe a sketch or two for the game.
Gothix, JKA is JK3 so JK4 is right after it which is why, i suspect, he chose that title as it comes right after. As for moders: Mappers and scripters are the hardest to get.
One thing,are you sure that 6 ppl will be enough,i don't think so,if you are planning to make detailed maps,many scripts and much modding,then this mod will be done in about 4 or 5 years,coz 6 ppl is not enough,just my opinion.
