Menus... GFX... Beta testing... I would help with scripting, but when I asked Fixer, he had already finished the scripts for Jedi Battleground. Fixer is the director, I'm just a co-worker. Don't blame me.

Try looking in the effects folder... anyway, what exactly have you done to achieve it? Wouldn't a Lightning replacement be better? Simply removing effects is a bit lame - visually, there needs to be some cue so the victim knows they aren't *just* losing health. For ideas, try looking at the Superman mod with effects because the laser eyes could help you. Since these are lightsaber battles, weapon hit effects aren't in use so make them into burny burny effects and replace the E11 (or whatever else, really) and if needs be, adjust Weapons.DAT to up/down the fire rate.

There is Force Lightning in JK. There isn't any Force Drain in JK. Replacing Force Lightning wouldn't be good. I remember that some effects appeared when Deadly Sight was used, like this... 200px-Deadlysight.jpg Isn't there a way to make damage effects appear?

the other day i thought of a great idea and maybe youll like it but probably is too late since you have advanced a lot in this mod. Ok did you knew that OJP can use single player maps? why dont you make compatible your maps with the cooperative mode of OJP and youll get cinematics, epic dueling system and all. You can add the menus ass well maybe you could just make a copypaste of the mod it self then change the menu ,the effects, adding your maps with the cooperative mode and since you are changing the menu maybe before you start the map in cooperative the player selects his character and then in the first map you can make some sort of guide map that shows the mechanics of OJP then the players wont get bored and fully enjoy the mod

obviusly asking for permision of the creators (excuse my english) i hope someone could tell this to the creator of movie duels 2 maybe his interested too

and also i got this other idea. If you liked my idea and you are planing o do the mod on OJP why dont you add ending cinematics like in TFU using this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jbf5XGGg4TE ok so the saber lock kill works by making a saber lock and if your oponent has low dodge if you press the attack buton youll instantly kill him.Now if you code this part maybe you can make it look like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPuUW8zh5N8 1:58 you add a cinematic every time you do a saberlock kill and make the player press buttons to succed let us say the "fatality" i hope you liked it

The creator of Movie Duels 2, Wector, doesn't mod anymore. He's retired. And I'm not sure about the OJP idea... ICARUS Scripting only works for SP, it doesn't work for MP.

This seems to solve problems... change hit effects to get the right effect and have some laser things shoots from the users eyes to give more of a hint to use Force Protect.

No, wait! Drain has a sound! I could replace it with the Force Seeing sound!

EDIT: No, that'd be weird for a mod based in JK. Replacing it with the original Deadly Sight sound would be better. Does Audacity record sound?

It doesn't work in vanilla MP. Mods such as OJP can (and have) patched the ICARUS support. Not everything works in OJP AFAIK, but the majority does, and if you know a coder (or learnt coding) you could finish it off. (Or just implement Lua scripting, which seems to be favourable)

And yes, Audacity can record.
