It's already been weighted, like I said, it just needs to be skinned.
Thanks, this is helping me a lot, I'll try them on the other uninished model, by now I'm on this 1 :D
Last Wish;5165824Alright, I'm sorry.. Your using max right?.
Take a look at that tutorial, it pretty much covers the basic (although there's bunch of different ways to do this), there's also some here Lightsaber Crafting Tutorial.
Basiclly uvw mapping can be a pretty time consuming process for player models, and it has to be done before compiling. (unless Xuan applied a uvw modifier before he started weighting).
Anyway, I'm sorry for the stupid reply, i was in a bad mood.. :uhm: I will be glad to answer if you got any specific questions regarding it.[/QUOTE]

Ok, can u send me the file so I can skin it?
It's the .pk3, so you'll have to open it to get to the the texture maps. Just skin it and re-make the .pk3 and it'll be good to go. And post screens :)
Thanks a lot Xu'an, this should rock!!!!!!!!!
woah when I look at the UV maps now..... I think I kinda raped some of them =/ there will be bad textures strethcing I guess If I shall re-uvmap it just tell me

Use a checkered pattern when you UV map to ensure there is no stretching.

yeah I know butwhen I UV mapped that model I didn't know that =/
so I must stop skining it using the UVmap provided?
I din't understand..
Yes, hold skinning until further notice, Ashura has to re-do the UVmaps.
