Can anyone help me with editing jkiii maps such as vjun 1 etc. I need some one who can edit npcs in a level. Ie change reborn_new into shadowtroopers. I've already tried myself but the map editor doesn't work. Plus i've tried swopping the npc file but the shadowtrooper doesn't cloak. I used this .bsp decompiler if anyone was wondering http://staff.filesnetwork.com/szicovii/work/tutorials/tut17_decompilation.html If anyone can help me with this or tell me how to make any npc withing the game able to cloak my email is kazuya.mishima@hotmail.co.uk

One word. No. Because it's actually illegal to edit those maps. The only maps in JK3 that you are allowed to edit are the ones which came with GTK Radiant in .map file format. The rest are not open source, and as such you're not allowed to edit them. Your only option is to copy and change the NPC files. To solve your NPC problem: change the class from CLASS_REBORN to CLASS_SHADOWTROOPER. This will give the Reborn the attributes of the Shadowtrooper instead, including the ability to cloak.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

If you want the reborn to change models too, also change "Playermodel" to shadowtrooper also. Let me look more into the shadowtrooper for you...

Try changing the rank to ltcomm

If you do not have an ext_data/npcs folder you'll need one.
