Hey guys, learn google! Is there a format not compatible with Mocrosoft Word? Google it and then convert-it. It took me 30 seconds to figure that out...

A menial suggestion to your tutorial. It advocates using the hollow button which was also what I originally did. However ive learned that this is a bad thing to do because it creates z-fighting brushes that cross over each other. Something that might help new mappers avoid messy maps from the start, as well as teach them more about detailed brush minipulation, is a tutorial that forces them to make all 6 brushes.

Hey I think i could explain the void it's the HOM (hall of mirrors) when the system cant figure what textur to use it copies what was last on the screen thus the HOM why to avoid: causes big errors and lenthens compile times by 78000%

Yes, but I figured if a new mapper wanted to learn to map, he would wan't something a little easier. Later on, I will tell them how to make one without the Hollow tool, but for starters I think it's fine.

I guess. But whenver a new mapper has asked me about somthing the problem is they always lack basic brush building knowledge. There like "I made a box, but I cant make stairs" because they dont know how to build brushes right. Sure its fine to say, you can make a box this way... But it may be more beneficial to there overall progress with mapping if they learn how to do it the long way first. y'know?

I'd recomended richdiesal's mapping tutorials thats where i learned and it describes the brush deal pretty good and lots of other stuff you could get some good ideas for your tutorial too.
