No, they shouldn't stick with JKA cause they can't get the needed Source Codes for SP editing. They should convert to another engine with a completely open Source Code.
i think this might be alittle off topib but its kind of a reply to what LordNosferatuAlucard said about the dragonball z thing, a Dragonball Z mod was made for Quake 3 arena is there a possibility to convert it to jka?
No! Jedi Academy has no SP Source Code! The DBZ mod can't be ported to Jedi Academy because of that reason!
Talonalus, Im sure RKR will find a way to make it work for JA. They have to large of a fan base in it to start over. As for the DBZ thing. I think people would be hapy with just the effects and models. :p Now back on subject.
Ive herd from a friend of mine that this model needs like 20 mins to an hours worth of work tops if even to get it in game.. If any of yall know anyone could yall point them to this?
Ok I just got Gmax. Is there anyone who can dl the file and maybe walk me through getting it in game if Gmax is capable of it?
Gmax isn't capable but XSI . . . maybe if it can read the model file. Just look up Eclypse's XSI weighing tutorial.
Ok Ive found it it just needs whighing... If there anyone willing to give me a link to a tut for this or to walk me though it (if Gmax can do this) id be most happy and thankful to them.
I had XSI at one time ... But XSI couldnt even open the model. So far I can Open it and look at it and stuff with Gmax
((Sorry I didnt see your post))
I didn't make it!
Hello all, i'm a member of the forums on the RKR site. when the model was released, i asked what needed to be done to it. Ced replied that it needed to be rigged and exported.
I'm sure Ced has no problem with this being done, as the model was sent to the trash bucket, for they made a better one.
Good luck and let me know when its done!
Well i dotn think anyways going to help so ya...
