Does anyone know how to use kick (forward kick) as an alt attack? (Instead of saber throw) Cause I ve been thinking about the movies and I realised that except for that little scene in Episode VI (ROTJ) where Vader throws his saber at luke, there really isn 't much of that feature in the other movies! On the other hand kicking... (man!) it brings a WHOLE new era in the game, especially in duels! (And it 's also more movie-like) So if anyone knows how to do this, he is welcome to enlighten me too...

To use kick the .sab file of the saber you're using must have saber throw set to 'off' (add the line "throwable 0" to your .sab file, or change it to 0 if it is 1).
Yes... I know that and I ve already done that to my sab files... But didn t work! I mean ok... it can t be thrown but there is still no kick! I believe that there has to be a command line that needs to be edited to the sab file to add the kick effect... If you know anything please, be kind enough to share it because I ve tried many things and I am at the edge of desperation...

You could always look in a staff .sab and see if a kick cmd is in there.
Still nothing... But I tried to edit the line "lungeAtkMove LS_KICK_F" and in game it replaced the lunge attack of the blue stance with the forward kick!! So I suppose that if i knew the command for the throw (e.g. saberThrow 0) i think that I could change it to saberThrow LS_KICK_F and it would work! But I m still in search for that EXACT command... so if anyone of you knows it I would be grateful...

Sopan, are u really looking to replacing ur saberthrow with kick? Or do you just want to use kick in a regular MP game online? Because by default, alt attack with staff is kick, why go through all the hassle of replacing saberthrow?
Is there a way to use kick without affecting the saberthrow?
Speaking for single saber of course...
