Hey, I'm compiling a map and the engine keeps finding leak around one corridor. At first I resized all the brushes and made sure they fit exactly together, but then the editor stopped caring about seams. Here you see the leak line going straight through a solid brush. I've put more brushes around the outside trying to stop the problem, but it keeps happening in that area. Suggestions? sample9pe.png

Perhaps the brush uses a water/acid/lava/non-solid shader?

I'd doubt that's the case. He's just putting down a wall texture.

You never really know sometimes. In fact, my friend seems to be having this problem too, and I can't find anything wrong with his mapping leak-wise.

Update: It was fixed by making a box around that section using overlapping brushes (most of my walls are 8 units thick, so I just made the box jut into the wall 4 units). It might extend compile time and add a few hundred KB to the map, but I want to get it finished. One more question: If I have a disembodied model key, how do I figure out what it belongs to? ht<a href=tp://img88.imageshack.us/img88/6826/sample9fn.png">
