What's up, everyone? I am currently working on a map based from the lobby scene of the Matrix in GtkRadiant. It's built so that you have to go through one of two metal detectors to pick up either the blaster and repeater (like Neo) or melee (like Trinity). My problem is that two-fold (and me being a total newbie :0wned: is one problem, but that doesn't count). 1) I want to create the pillars so that they fall apart like it did in the movie. I tried making the pillars out of little cubes with minimal health so they'd fall apart easily, but that basically killed the speed I can travel while editing. 2) This map will probable turn out to be part of a mod because I want the player to be able to draw two guns and fire both independently (using right and left mouse buttons to fire either gun). I would also like to change force speed into a force slow, so that the player can (hopefully) dodge bullets or whatever from the smackdown being laid by NPC's (or other players, if I could). So basically, I want to know if any part of my plan is impossible, so I can quit wasting time with this map and start another. :bows: Thanks!:bows:

thats for a mod called the matrix unleashed - if you wanna join it, you can probably get what you want done. otherwise, learn how to code in C programming language :)

but essentially, no not impossible, inevitable. ;)

For the second one, you'll need a coder.

As for the first choice, you can set the whole pillar so that it breaks apart into a lotta little chunks, but they disappear after a while and the whole pillar would have to break, unless you make it out of lots of little brushes and set them to func_breakable.

The best engine, if you want a map with realistic physics, is GeoMod, but as far as I'm aware only Red Faction and Red Faction II use GeoMod, and there are no editing tools. Such a shame. :(
