This is the first model I've made that actually made it out of Gmax and into JKA. =p

Unfortunately, I ended up cheating on the texture, and used an all-environment shader (Ex: textures/common/env_glass_opaque).

Anyone willing to give it a proper texture? This will include UVW unwrapping, as I only did a quick-and-dirty job.

I'll do it but I need the model in .obj/.3ds/.glm or . md3 then :)

but another thing are you sure this works ingame o.o ?

it's looking freaking high poly

A common misconception about JKA is the belief that models have to be <1000 verts.

It's actually <1000 per object. (So the actual limit is 1000 x the max number of objects a model can have)

And yes, it works in-game. I was playing with it on my LAN.

Can you handle .gmax? I'd prefer getting it back in that format if possible.

If it's 1000 per object, and it has to be exported as an MD3, that makes the limit around 30,000. Has anyone done anything that crazy?

I've never heard of a 30.000 vert saber hilt in JA this one's at 2232 verts btw that's less than I expected

Whoa. Nice so far. :D

For the metal, I aiming for light silver, with the prongs being dark, as seen in my shots above.

And if it isn't too much trouble, I'm making a staff version as well. (almost done)
