I still don't understand why people use these things. It's not very hard at all to learn how to build in Lugormod, but for all the newbies that are still learning out there, this should be a very helpful tool indeed. Kudos for the tool.

Hacky's site kinda looks like Boba's site for the UU kt :)

I think it's a good idea since the sites that once hosted tutorials on learning to build are now down like robophred's and I wanted to be able to jump right in without taking the time to re-learn since it has been years for me. I know what you mean though about stuff like the npc tool and bot tool cause those are just pointless.

Lugormod>Makermod, anyone could tell you that, especially seeing how few and empty the makermod servers are.

Now hurry up and make this compatible with .NET 4 since 3.5 wont install for me, pretty sure it's because of the SP3 of Windows XP Media Center Ed.

I'm assuming you haven't checked the state of the servers for a long time. Lugormod isn't > Makermod, Lugormod is good at its own thing, Makermod is good at its own thing.

Makermod's objective isn't the same as Lugormod, Makermod is purely a fun building mod which allows every player to build whatever they like. The players aren't bound to what the server admins/map designers have created for them to play around with, they can do their own thing. In Lugormod, building is restricted to admins only, it allows admins to customize the maps however they like, and so the players have to follow the designer's options and follow the same old rob-the-bank, capture-the-jawa and collect-the-crystals quests.

Lugormod is a mod that suits the server owner best, Makermod is a mod that suits the players best. But yeah, Lugormod's more popular, but Makermod isn't exactly barren.

Hacky's been relying on me for coding most of her new utility (which attaches onto the game like UU), and so it won't be in .NET, and I'm not sure if the utility's still in development now after I stopped giving Hacky freebie coding.

EDIT: We also kinda bumped a thread, but nevermind :p

We're still incredibly off topic from the main subject.
