I've been working on an icarus script compiler/decompiler for macs (PPC or intel) over the past couple of days (so far only the decompiler has any work done), and I've got a few questions:
1) Should I actually release the decompiler? Would jk3files even host it? It might be helpful to a small few (well, really small few), but as all the raven scripts already come as textfiles in the SDK, it's probably not necessary (as it shouldn't be used for decompiling scripts belonging to other people).
2) It will be command line for now (so it's not going to be like BehavED, it will just convert textfiles to game-readable scripts)- would mac users still use it, or is an interface for writing scripts needed?
3) I've been using the ICARUS manual to look at commands, what undocumented commands (if any) are there?
I'll try to update this post when I get something vaguely releasable done.

2. I'd definitely use it, I don't have a problem with learning to write scripts and so forth, it just actually getting them ingame that's the issue.
I'll probably be starting with camera commands - are there any other "must have" features for the first release?
The Win icarus compiler, ibize, is actually also a command line compiler. BehavEd is but a UI that accesses the compiler. Thus, you can also use the compiler conveniently via the command line (or rather with a drag'n'drop batch file), command line as such not being very convenient at all.
To check the commands, you can also have a look at the "behaved.bhc" file or other source files.
Cool, a mac Icarus compiler. That would really help out. I wouldn't have to use virtual pc anymore!
I might have a little trouble using command lines, but if a tutorial or something was included i wouldn't mind too much.
Any progress reports? Just checking in. :)
Not yet, I'll see about getting something that works with camera commands done in the next week or so though - thanks for the interest.

Free coffee? :Puzzled: This is a great idea by the way, good work!
id use it i have a mac
Well, there's already a BehavED decompiler for windows, called DevahEB. SO maybe you should advertise it as mainly a Mac program? (Or use it if you're having coding problems or whatever)
