Anyone know how to fix PK3 files. Because I deleted a PK3 with a lot of work in it by accident, then I brought it back with a recovery program, but now Winrar and pakscape wont read it, I dont know why, you think JKA will still read it? you know what I could do short of remaking the whole entire thing? Please help me!

Try opening it with Winzip.

You accidently deleted an important pk3? How did that happen? OOPS! I pressed delete! OOPS! I clicked yes! OOPS! I right clicked on the recycle bin, chose Empty recycle bin and clicked yes!

Yup, I can see that happening...

In reply to 2 I dont have winzip. In reply to 3 I was deleting a whole bunch of things, and it happened to be selected. I didn't notice until it was to late.

SithDaggeryou think JKA will still read it?

only way to find out is to try ;) back it up tho, incase JA recognises it is corrupt and deletes it. if it dosent work in JA go inside the PK3 and recover what you can, finding complete files and making a new PK3

Just download Winzip. It's pretty much the best idea.

I downloaded winzip! Understand this, Pakscape, Winzip, And Winrar do not open the PK3. I could easily save the whole thing if I could open it.

So, does Winzip open it?
