Ok i've searched for this and so far none of it has explained it very well. i've seen the wrong way. The correct way isn't either explained completely or maybe i just don't understand it. I'm a noobie mapper and i'm looking to add a few models to my map so its not so bland. So far i've been able to add them but you can walk right through them which isn't what i wanted....I've seen people say use the system phisics clip but i havn'r found out how to use that and i've checked all the options in the tools and what not and have yet to find it. If someone could tell me where to find the option or how to do this it would really help seeing as models are the last thing i need to add to my map.
but brushes with a physics_clip texture around the models. But this has been covered by RichDiesal to http://www.jedioutcastmaps.com/tutorials/gc102lsn5.html
and you can sometimes just do key: spawnflags value: 2
or go into singleplayer mapping mode and click the spawnflag- that'l do the trick-
I just said that...
Evil_JediI just said that...
yeah- but it just makes people understand when you see the button- at lease I think so- it's not an unidentified key&value
It's the same thing :D using the button is the same as just giving it a key and value..
spawnflags 2 is EVIL!
It has the possibility of producing odd clip brushes in odd places... best thing to do is make your own clip brushes to fit around the model unless it is a huge and VERY simple model.
this is threads that make you think. eather you just wanna leave them with: SEARCH! or else you wanna just make a .txt where you can copy and paste :\
