I've skinned some new clothes for the human male, and I'd like to know how to make it a new option in the game (I don't want to overwrite anything). The tutorials seem to only say how to make completely new species, and turning it into a new pk3 didn't do anything like it does regular models.

If it's really complicated I'll understand. But do please someone help! =)

I actually don't know, sorry. I would gladly help if I did, but I'm completely new to this (thus my request in the first place =P) But I'm sure something like that probably isn't too much to ask for if you where to make a new thread and ask that way

There's a thread with tutorials and stuff on this forum. It's the very first thread on the forums page. The tutorial below describes how to get a model from MP into SP. From what you have already in the Jedi HM folder, you could kinda guess how to get your various new parts into the menu. Here's a tutorial that should help regardless.

Forge Productions - How to Make a Single-Player Species With Variants

It's a simple tutorial, and it works. Good luck!

First off, you have to take the human male model folder, copy it and rename it. Then delete the textures you don't want and use the tutorial to add SP support for it.

Okay, I tried following the tutorial and it didn't work. I must be missing a step or something.

What exactly do I need to have in a pk3 for it to work? I had the re-skins and the .skin files that went with them, along with icons. It might be worth mentioning that those skin files weren't edited, just the ones from Jedi_HM that went to the files I skinned over

You need everything detailed in the tutorial for it to work.

Beyond that I don't have enough information to answer your question. What didn't you put in the PK3 that I said is needed?

Well, I had everything it mentioned explicitly, but perhaps I missed something that it didn't mention by name. I'll try again.
