ok i'm making a map and, its quite a big map. I started today and all i did was do a big box but when i try to do a bsp test it says Map leaked. Anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

If it's just a box, you've probably made it out of detail brushes. Go to the "brush" menu and select "make structural".

that command isnt under brush

I think it's under miscellaneous actually, assuming you're on 1.4. Also look closely to make sure all the box edges connect. If they're a single small unit apart that'd be the leak.

yea i'm on 1.4 and yes i did go round checking the corners. Found it it was under Selection. Bleh, still didnt work. Heres what it says: --- FloodEntities --- 0 flooded leafs no entities in open -- no filling MAP LEAKED

Check the edges of each brush to make sure that they are connecting. And did you try selecting all of the brushes and THEN making them structural?

to make big hollow boxes make a single brush then hollow it...
