hey im making a map but how do i add the sky or stars like if i was in space?

Here are the more common space skies:

textures/skies/byss textures/skies/space textures/skies/ships

Apply one of those shaders to where you want your sky to be.

we got another problem, i try to load up JK2Radiant and just a small window comes up and then disappears then i restarted my computer and it happend again then reinstalled JK2Radiant and it happend again what do i do?

get GTK radiant 1.4 it's better thna JK2Radiant and works the same

i did that and i made my map and saved it in: C: Program Files/lucasarts/SWJKJA/GameData/Base/Maps then i launched JKA singleplayer and i did devmap (mapname) and it said cannot find map

and besides u cant save it as a .bsp

I'm not sure about 1.4, but in GTK 1.5, you choose to "Build" the .bsp from the toolbar thing at the top of the screen. It can't find the .bsp because a) you haven't made it and b) you don't put maps there! You make a .pk3 with a 'maps' folder and put the .bsp in there. I'm not sure about the various "builds" which have strange terms like META and BOUNCE mean, but I know that they do various magical things like affecting the lighting in maps.

Actually, you can. Use sv_pure 0 when you launch the game and you don't need to pk3 anything.

The reason JA won't read the map is because it must be compiled into a BSP first. Check your BSP menu for options.

thanks it works now i made a cool map where u can push stormtroopers out of the hangar
