Hello, everyone! It's the take-forever-to-do-anything mapper, and I/we need testers! This map is a remap of FFA5. This is Version 3, so it's very refined at this point. This is the CTF map ONLY -the FFA and duel maps will follow soon. Preferably, a clan could volunteer to beta this and let me know if it's balanced for good gameplay or not. Still, any honest suggestions are warmly welcomed.
Since I'm sure you all would rather SEE this map before trying it out:
Here's some more screenshots for you. Something to know: The clan logos do NOT APPEAR in the version I have posted for download below! That's one of the cool features of this map - there will be a mod pack as well. You can download the mod pack, insert three different clan logos, then start JA and they will appear in the map at preset locations! How cool is that??
Most people say that the FFA version is the most incredibly interactive map they've ever seen in JKA. This CTF map has only one truly interactive object at the moment, and it's in the center - try it out! Also, there's one secret that's kind of amusing/distracting...
Anyways! So if someone would like to test this, please do so, then post back with your suggestions/conclusions! The thing I want to know the MOST is about gun placement. Is it ok? And also, what about the stash inside the green building? OOPS you didn't hear that!

first of all, nice work ;). I just tested ur map quickly as i don't have much time.
Good things: 1) the placement of the guns were overall very well :D 2) The choice of wich gun were was also very good. 3) you made me verry happy when i saw turrets =p(few use turrets in there maps) 4)Thanks to the placement of the buildings and weapons sniping wars could be realy fun.:deal: ------
some pointers maybe :uhm: 1) fps, but i have bad computer so could just be me :) 2) liked you used turrets,but there so placed that ya can't shoot much people though.(like the one on the bleu building) 3)Maybe,(my opinion) in the green building to much stash?.It's good to get some when ur out BUT! Think you'r playing and some annoying peeps join.They'r going to "conquer" the green building and start shooting on everything that moves.(although admins could remove some stashes so it would be less "overloaded".) 4)The elevator on the red building(pic) was not working(just telling you that). -------------- Overall nice map,funny idea's (specialy like the Soda? sign from yoda's popping up :lol:)
I would rate it 9.5/10 (-0.5 for the turrets placed so you can shoot less peeps.)

Caulk could be used in more places such as the backsides of the Soda signs. Please rebuild the elevators so that you will have to like press in midair while standing on it to go up.

First off, thank you for your attention. At least there WERE a few testers!
One thing nobody has mentioned - did anybody have any problems with the music that was used?

What's badly built, the elevators? I redefined them all from scratch and they're fine.
The map is huge because that's how big the FFA version is. Do you think some invisible boundaries should be added?
Caulk.......on the back of the billboards?? Why caulk that? If anything, I was thinking about making them nonsolid so people can't take advantage of them. They're a joke only. Not meant to be taken advantage of.
The elevators all work, except that one that salmarin posted the picture of - because it's not supposed to work. If people could get on that roof, they can actually jump across the map in about 10 seconds to get to the blue base. So I "deactivated" it. If you think it's necessary, I'll remove it to avoid confusion.
Oh yeah.........forgot to kick the bots so they wouldn't be playing with the billboards every 2 seconds. That's supposed to be the SECRET SURPRISE THING..... :P (look up and hit use anywhere in the map)
And farther angles on the turrets......it's possible, but that's why I was hoping a clan would test it. :> A few less guns in the green building? No problem.
Strage, nobody seemed to notice the center platform is operable (4th from last screenshot). It goes up and down. I think it's pretty cool how it does it. Find the button (there's one below the ramp and one on the platform itself) and push it. Let me know what you think of that.
