You know sounds.cfg? Basically, the game can look for sound files based on your skin, so you can have... sounds_default.cfg sounds_red.cfg sounds_blue.cfg

etc etc.

By default, if the corresponding sounds_* file doesn't exist, it will use sounds.cfg. Which, because JK2/JA never uses this, nobody has known about.

Dunno how many of you knew this before.

I thought that was a given. That it'd just revert to the default. Seems like thinking ahead in the programming department to me.

The part that is most interesting is the actual fact that you can have different sounds.cfg for each skin on each model. So different death sounds (different taunts!) for red/blue, so you can have a taunt on a red skin that says "Blue Team Sucks!", etc.
