Someone please help! How do you install mods?

when you download it will come up with a zip right click and go unzip or extract all and after its extracted get the pk3 out and put in your base folder

I tried putting it in my base folder, but when I go to load it in the game it doesn't show it.

1. Modname 2. Is it a server Mod or personal Mod 3. What is it supposed to do 4. Never heared of Readme files... (sometimes they actually work you know)

1. the folder is called jka_dismember.zip; but the file is autoexec.cfg. 2. I'm not sure. 3. It allows dismemberment of all body parts. 4. I did what the readme said and it didn't work.

Okay, so what DID you do? By all means, the readme should give you the answers you seek.

EDIT: Did you try this in MP or SP? That mod does exactly nothing in multiplayer. If you tried it in singleplayer, there's only one thing I can say and it's not the nicest thing in the world.

Installation: 1) Unzip the folder "Dismember" folder. 2) Put the "autoexec.cfg" file in your "base" folder. I did this and it didn't work.

I have reason to believe you didn't. If you did, it should work, y'know. Where is that "base" folder of yours?

I went under my computer- local disk (C:)- program files- lucas arts- Jedi academy- gamedata- base, and I put it there.

Okay, so that's out of the way. Did you try it in single- or multiplayer? It only works in singleplayer.
