I would like to create a mod that consists of one level. I already have the models and the map but i was wondering if it's possible to play the mod without Jedi academy installed. If it is, what files do i need to put in the mod to be able to play it? (I would like to make it work like the demo, without cd and game installed).

Impossible. At least impossible legally, and Kouen will not suffer any other talk here (nor should he; he wouldn't be Kouen otherwise).
I don't want to do nothing illegally. There's no other way? I'ts not for distribution, it's for me only. Can somebody enlight me?

There is one way, make your own game. Other than that you need JKA installed.

Since your mod contains no game engine, only additional levels, there's no way to run it without a game engine - in this case, Jedi Academy's game engine, as that's what it was built with compatibility for.
There's no way to create standalone mods for Jedi Academy, nor are we allowed to do so even if we do find a way - this is one part of the LEC Mod Policies that probably would result in legal action, since it'd be cutting into LucasArts' profits quite a bit.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
Ok. Thanks for the information Mikouen.

Hefty sum of profits indeed... ...The only reason I bought KotOR was because it had loads of mods. Then after playing the game for more than 5 minutes I had many other reasons...So a "free of requirements" mod would be a bad idea. May I ask why you wanted to run it without it installed? Did you lose a disc or something?

My laptop's hard drive is a bit full, and as my mod is not very large and I would like to play it, I though if I copied the files that are important to run the mod to my laptop, I could play it. I see now that's impossible, unless you know another way... (Sorry for my bad english.)

Ah I see. Makes sense. Yeah that's not possible, legally. Your English is quite good actually.
