ok i'm new to modding this game but i'm not to modeling and i've looked every where and can't find anything, so i was wanting to know is there a plugin or program that will let me open a model which you all know is in GLM and convert it to 3ds max so i could add some stuff to it or edit it, if you could post a link to the plugin< plugin meaning for 3ds max or program that will let me convert it to a type of file 3ds max will read that would be nice thanks in advanced

EDIT POST :D : Okay, It's actually for max 6 but it works on max 8 so you should be fine- just make sure to put it in your plugins folder !

Not really the truth, is it? ;)
The best JA modeling programs for JKA sure won't make it impossible to properly export custom-made skeletons and animations, as is the case with Max 6 to 8. "The best for JKA" is likely Max 5 as it, like Max 4, supports the XSi 3.0 exporter while being a tad less buggy than it's predecesor.
Workflow in Max 8 definitely is preferable to any previous version, but that's a different story... ;)

Or maybe it's XSI Foundations, which is what they used to actually make the game. ;)
well it was a combination of both, XSI cant export to md3 remember, unless raven kept that plugin from us. =p
