Hi, i need help with a model im using.

This is the model im using : models/map_objects/imperial/bunk.md3

The problem is that in-game the model is showing up really bright. Even if i put it in an area with no lighting, it still shows up the same.

Heres a screenshot,

I've tried it as both a misc_model and a misc_model_static.

I could be wrong but I think your problem is because of a the games shader assign to it.

Yep, the shader doesn't have a lightmap.

models/map_objects/imperial/bunk { q3map_nolightmap { map models/map_objects/imperial/bunk } { map models/map_objects/imperial/bunk_glow blendFunc GL_ONE GL_ONE glow rgbGen identity } }I would copy the model and the models texture, rename them, and wack them into base/models/map_objects/yourmap. Then write a shader (similar to the one below) that has a lightmap.

models/map_objects/yourmap/bunk { { map $lightmap } { map models/map_objects/yourmap/bunk } }

Yeah I have to agree spineless, and by the way dam good work on your serenith project , I am a big fan of that series.
