Hi, I'm Alissa and i've been playing JK3 alot lately. I'm part of a clan called Ladies of the Sith (LOTS) and usualy i'm found on that server alot. I also have the habbit to play while i'm at work in my office, when i have no work to do, so i'm pretty much addicted. A few months ago i started out skinning, and i started to get pleased with my progress, and wanted to work on a personal skin to release. But saddly enough i never found a model that could mach my wishes, so i could start designing her clothes and such. I tried making my own model about a month ago, and grabbed a few tutorials, and tried it on different programs, but had alot of trouble understanding the programs. Eventualy i gave up on trying to create my own model, and hope one of you is willing enough to help a girl in need of a personal model ^^ Let me explain what i want this model to be like. The basics are that i want my model to be a Twi'lek female, much like the model that originaly comes with JK3. I want to have a choice wether i want her lekku's hanging down her back, or down her chest. So no around the neck kinda thing. Her form should be like the original one. This all is like the the original one, and the lekku thing i could live with, but the real problem is with the clothes. Now these are very important for me, coz i simply want these features on my model, if possible ofcource. -Robe with hood up and down. I would like her to wear a robe with the choice for me in skinning wether or not i want her hood up or down. When the hood is up, i would like her lekku to hang on her chest. And the robe should be wide, open, and reach down to the ground.The option wether or not i want her to wear the robe would be great to. -Low cutt top and a simple shirt as upper clothes. -catt suite. I had some people ask me to add in a tight catt suite in my requests, coz they would simply like to see a Twi'lek in something like that. (I don't have to tell you these requests where made by men ^^) -Long exotic skirt and pants. I have a picture of the skirt i want, but i cant post the link yet ^^ -High heeled leather boots, and simple leather boots Well i think thats about it for my request ^^ So if anyone could help me out by making this model for me, i would be very very very veeeeeeerrrryyyy thankfull. :) Thanks, Alissa aka {LOTS}Venatrix{R}

One question. Do you understand the concept of a UVMap? After you answer, I will consider your request :)

if shes never modeled before then she most likely has no idea what UV mapping is, why would you ask something like that? >_>

Because, UVMaps are a part of modding, that skinners should know about, I'm not just about to try to uvmap another model to a specific texture, I am already trying to do that with textures that I dont even know where they go.

your supposed to UV map a model using a texture like a checkerboard so that you can keep everything in proportion, not uv map a model to some texture that you ripped. you uv map it using the checkerboard and make sure everything is in proportion so that none of the squares are stretched out then you can save the UV coords as a jpg then paint over them. the way your doing it is kinda backwards and almost always turns out bad.

It simply will not look good like that, your texture will be stretched in several sections. But let's not steal this thread.

UV mapping ? I've heared about it from the guys that *cough* tried to help me learn the skinning trait. I have to say i've never done a compleet blank model before. So i don't know any details about UV mapping. I'm no specialist, and have no great skills with graphics, but i always end up on my feet. Like i said before. Any help i can get i will be very thankfull for.
