For playermodels, XSI is a widely used free one, but Blender is also good. SOFTIMAGE|XSI Mod Tool blender.org - Get Blender If you struggle with either of these, search something like " basic tutorial" and you'll get the basics quickly. Failing that, the people here are very experienced and can give you great advice. Gmax is, in my opinion, a LOT more easy to use but you can't do playermodels (as far as I know). If you wanted to do that, you'd have to buy 3DS MAX which is EXPENSIVE. Turbo Squid -- gmax Although you have to sign up to Turbosquid for it (you have to validate it), it is well worth it. There are tons of free things on there so you can get used to converting files (when searching the site for models, order by "lowest price" and look for "gmax" as a file extension) If you're using GMAX, you need a few things to get started. The BEST tutorial I found was this: Lightsaber Crafting Tutorial It lists and links to all the various tools you'll need and has a step-by-step guide to creating your very own lightsaber. Nifty, eh? For making pretty pictures, GIMP is my favourite free program. It's practically Photoshop! (but not...) GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program If you're stuck, Google search your problem. If you have no luck, look in the Master Sticky for something that might help (e.g. if you are struggling to get a lightsaber in-game, the "Getting your gun in-game" would help a lot) and finally, when hope is all but lost... ask the community ;)

XD Got cut off I tried to say I'm going to upload my Bankai sword. It has 7 blades, extremely powerful in defense and attack, can fire lethal blasts of lightning, and it light as a feather (to me, anyway). And I'd like someone to model oe of my friends. [sighs] Freya... (Yes I'm in loooooooove) Here's a picture of her: Freya I'd appreciate it if you do ^.^

Okay, we've established that kid's serious need for therapy on the basis of believing to have met, gotten to know, and become friends with an entirely fictional entity as well as (allegedly) falling in love with said entity.

I stand by what I say. We humans are very good at our sole purpose in life - which just happens to be making our less evolved primate cousins look like omnipotent beings. Our weaker aspects compared to chimpanzees are by design, they didn't want us evolving and stealing all their glory! It's all there in the history books. Really, it is.

This thread's done, the original requests have been buried and forgotten, anything that needed saying has been said, and anyone who may be working on projects linked with anything said in here can quite easily make a new thread for their project(s).

And with that, we bid you adieu.

:lock:

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
