Hi, I've been posting in the JK2 forums, but because I just recently bought JK3 I'm more interested in that now. You could sorta call me a newbie I guess. :)

I've been working on a mod for a while, sort-of a "total conversion" of JKA. To complete the mod, I need a custom model of a character from a TV show, the tv show being called "Code Lyoko". It just so happens that the model I'm requesting someone to make is already a 3d model in the show, and yes, I have searched high and low on Google for an already-made model. I'm not that good at modeling but I know a lot of you guys here are the masters of 3d modeling. I can pretty much get a picture from any angle of the character, and I even have a 3d rotation video of the model (I'll look for it if you need it). Heres some pictures: Two close-ups of the face: Close up 1 and 2

Here's some links to lots of shots: Lots of shots Just scroll down to where it says Ulrich in Lyoko Again, scroll down to where it says ulrich on lyoko

I know you guys rock at modeling, so if you could help, it would be really appreciated. Thanks. (if you need any other angles, or anything of that sort then just ask. And don't worry, I'm not holding my breath or anything.;)

OMG! Someone wants a model of Ulrich? You making a total conversion on Code Lyoko? OMG, wtf? My fault, I really don't like the show. Anyway, a model is possible, but his head may be very huge, and there won't be clothing physics for it, so everything (belts and such) will just kinda sit there. BTW, can I see the mod?

Does that mean you think it's a good idea or a bad idea, I can't tell! As for the mod, all I have is a couple levels (like the factory and part of the desert region) or at least I DID, all I have now is pictures of the levels that I took with Print Screen when it worked, because I used CSG subtract or whatever accidentlly and you know what happens when you use that in the older versions of GTK radient :( It wrecks the map and keeps it from compiling correctly. But I'm reconstructing it. I was thinking of eventually getting vehicles done also and stuff, but... well, a code lyoko mod's never really been finished before (one was attempted for half-life 2) so I figured I could start one on a better platform such as JKA. And yeah... big head, most likely. If you could make the model that would be GREAT :D Clothing physics don't matter, as long as it looks remotely something like ulrich I'm happy! :D :D :D sorry for so many smilies. I know it's REALLY hard to make a model so Thank you!

Yeah he is, and I don't mean its a good or bad idea, I just think its a funny idea. But then again, like I said, I don't like the show. Others may want it, but I doubt some of the older members still watch newer cartoons, me myself in particular. I stick to classics! :D

It does sound like a good idea, but I agree with anakin that I have never watched the show. Also, what do you mean by the "classics"? There are so many different cartoons and remakes of them out there, it totally depends on when you grew up what you consider to be the classics. The flintstones and the jetsons were classics, yet they were way before thundercats and voltron, which are also considered classics to the people who grew up in those times. And to some, things like Code Lokyo might be considered a classic sometime soon in the future, because that is the time period of cartoons they grew up in.

Well, I go to this code lyoko forum called "Lyoko Freak" (that name never stops making me laugh) and they're... how should I put it... Lyoko freaks, so I was planning on making a mod with them. Eventually I would want all of the 3d characters (there are four of them) but I can't really ask that much of you guys, and I was planning on maybe spacing the requests apart by about a month. And yes, my avatar is just a photoshopped version of my favorite character, I was actually planning on changing it.

sorry for double post I'm a little confused, did anybody agree to make the model or was it just like everyone said "oh, weird idea" and left?
