ok i think that is what i need to know thnx btw i herd milkshake was only a trial thing and i think you have to pay for the other one to i dnt believe in that stuff, makin a disc that you sell for the price of a normal game is ok but the rest is paffetic
You're not selling the disc, you're selling the software, and the million in research and development than went into creating the software. How about you spend 10 years developing something and sell it for $10?
dsnt a game work exactly the same
Something like 3DS Max is a lot more expensive to create than a video game, and it is used to make video games. Therefor it kind of makes sense to pay more for it, doesn't it?
point well argued but surley you shudnt have to pay the £100 some companies charge or monthly charges the same as with games like wow ppl dnt like to pay monthly and for the obvius reason you should buy it once and that should be the end of it anyone else agree with me on that one?

Not really, people need salaries, how many people work on the software is amazing and how useful some of these tools can be is equally amazing.
Also with the WoW comment, I prefer not to pay monthly fees but there is such a thing as paying for servers, allowing updates and paying people a regular wage.
