Everytime I try to open a model.glm file I get the same error message: Model name C:/.../.../... exceeds MAX_QPATH. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance. ---R.Z.---
The glm needs to be inside gamedata/base/models/players/[model's name]
Alright I don't get that error message anymore, but a new one now. It says: R_LoadMDXM: # bones mismatch! "Models/players/kirt/model.glm" has 72 bones "Models/players/_humanoid/_humanoid" has 53 This model probaly needs recompiling Help?

essentially what it says on the tin, the model has too many bones. you need to re make the skeleton for the model

No. The model you are trying to skin is most likely a Jedi Knight 2 model which has different bones. If you possess JK2 go get the glm from that and replace the JA one for the mean time.
And by glm, I suppose you mean _humaniod.gla
No, I don't have JK2. Anyone mind sending me the .glm?
The GLA is pretty big, since it have all the animations in it.
What model are you trying to view in modview and why?
