Hi, I've been trying to open up Modview several times, but it keeps coming up with an error saying: "Modview mfc application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I've made sure to put the modview shortcut and all the _humanoid + skin I want to edit into the correct folders, but it's not working.

Can someone help?

Does this happen when opening the program alone or when trying to load a model?

Something along those lines happened to me as well when I fist tried to open ModView on Vista. Just make sure you open it as an Administrator, and it'll work fine.

I checked that, it's not it. I run on admin already, and plus, I'm on XP.

Someone please help!

For starters, take a look here please: Setting up ModView - MovieBattles II Wiki

Assuming your folders are really set up correctly, you could also try the following:

Locate a .glm-file in one of your folders and open it (any .glm within a proper folder hierarchy will do). A windows dialog will pop up, asking for the application you want to use. Go for choosing said application yourself, and select ModView as the application you want .glm's to be opened with (To do that, simply point to your ModView.exe). Oddly enough, that helped me to bypass an error once as well.
