I'm currently working on a map for Jedi Academy, the nature of which I shall keep secret for now, suffice it to say that this is my first map for JA. When putting music in my file, however, I recieved the following error:

WARNING: No Data Chunks in music/myfile.wav

I have the file saved in PCM format at 22 kHz, 56 kBit/Sec. Is this the incorrect format? If so, what format does the file need to be in? If not, does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance for your help! (If this question has already been answered, I apologize for asking again. I searched the forum and couldn't find it!)

Well, I'm a mapper myself, but I'm not the best with music file specifications and such. I look at this: "PCM format at 22 kHz, 56 kBit/Sec", and go 'WTF?' :P

Did you try a standard mp3? Those usually work for me, I use Adobe Audition, but if you can't get that, use Audacity.

Ah. For some reason, I was under the impression that audio files in JKA all had to be in WAV format. Maybe that only applies to target_speaker, though. It works now. Thanks for the help!

Heh, you're welcome :D.

I think .wav's are only used on target_speakers and a few other things. I'm glad the problem was solved :).
