i want to know if it possible to add music to the first menu screen in ja where you select to start a new game. Secondly how do you create a new model from scratch for ja? because i want to add a whole new model/skin to ja. what programs do i need?

That's actually were easy, although it has one drawback. Or at least the method I'm using, which was developed by someone else, I can't quite remember who, possibly Mercenary. Anyway, open your custom UI/main.menu file. Scroll a little down, and you will find the following part. This excerpt is from my soon to be released SP mini map, and I have colored red the part that will start to play music the very moment the menu screen opens the first time. menuDef { name "mainMenu" fullScreen 1 rect 0 0 640 480 visible 1 focusColor 1 1 1 1 descX 320 descY 426 descScale 1 descColor 1 .682 0 .8 descAlignment ITEM_ALIGN_CENTER onOpen { [color=Red]exec "music music/Kuusi" ;[/color] setfocus newgamebutton } onESC { play "sound/interface/menuroam.wav" ; close mainMenu ; open quitMenu ; } Yeah, the drawback... Well, using the back command in the menus you can always go back to this menu. Unfortunately going back to this menu restarts the music from the beginning. Maybe there is a way to avoid this, but I haven't bothered to look for it. Nor will I.

and for craeting a complete new model you need gmax or 3dmax it is complicated
