The thing that shoots those balls.... I mean you can use common sense on what these things should replace..... EDIT:: N3G1..... that has got to be the worste idea.... The e-11 is automatic... the shotgun should shoot in bursts....

It's been a long time since i've played JA or JO,so i don't remember details about weapons or anything else. BTW i still need that tutorial about putting those weapons ingame

And you're making models for it? How do you plan to test these things? About the tag and export.... Tags should be found on the existing weapons in the assets1.pk3 if you actually own the game... I think the tags are tag_parent and tag_bolt but I'm not 100% sure on that. For exporting... Export as an MD3 first and then get MD3 View and use that progra to export it as a .glm. You will need to make a .skin file for the final .glm. I also took the liberty to look for the name of the weapon I think best suites a shotgun. (spread projectiles and slow rate of fire). It's calles the golan_arms in the pk3... looks like a grey box with a handle on one end. When and iff you get to the railgun I would replace the disrupter rifle with that. The bfg would probably go best with the concusion rifle. For the plasma... I would go with the heavy repeater. For the machinegun i would raplce the e-11. For the lightning gun and the grenade launcher... dunno if you can do those....

THX,but how to write skin files? and could you write me lil tutorial in text format and send me,if you have time,plz? I've started skinning that shotgun and i must stop now,need to take a shower and go to school,so,i'll continue after school if i find time coz end is near and i need to study for exams,etc. Here are screenies.

Lil Killamake a .skin file.... Here is an example I created recently... Box02,models/weapons2/pop/pop.tga Box02 refers to the name of the mesh as it is in the editor. models/weapons2/pop/pop.tga points to my skin. Then save it as yourmodel.skin yourmodel stand for the name of your.GLM file!

Going to school when i'm going to bed :P That quote should tell you how to make a .skin file.

wow dude pimp stuff. Are you planning on changing the affects of the shot. So it will look like quake fire. That would make this fricken awesome. But this will be a site to see when it comes out. Goood luck bud.

I'd suggest two weapons: - Railgun - BFG 10k

But it's up to you. You could even choose the gauntlet...
