Hi KirkNCC1701 here again, i'm making a mod for JA SP which will include loads of extras & fixes. I'm calling it JKIII Realism Pack. It's got loads of new skins & reconfigured npcs as well as altered weapons etc. I'm currently stuck on the single player skins section where i've added two more characters to use. One is the kowakian lizard (Desaan's species) & the other is mara jade. The lizard has been tested & works in sp fine. The only problem left is mara. Since it's a jkII model it doesn't seem to convert too well, at least on my pc. She has a right job using two sabers properly & goes kinda spazzy, sabers go through her, she walks funny too. She does saber throw circle thing but only with one of them, im thinking that my pc is scewing up slowly. I've tried downloading every different compatible mara jade model but the model is always the same, except when her hair was missing. I'm looking for some genious who can use 3ds max to convert her to a JA model. I've looked at tutorials myself but when i purchased max the registartion serial number didn't work. I seriously wanted to get this released before christmas, but it'll have to wait since i've learned that this is a tedious & time consuming job, if anyone is willing to do it. Thank you.

I'm sorry but I don't know how to help you. but you should contact discreet about the serial number cause I would be downright mad if I bought a $3500 program and it didn't work. (even $500 for the student edition)

The reason the model is'nt working is becasue the the JO models lack the proper skeleton for JA animation. You probably know this, but I'd hate for you to go out and upgrade your comp thinking it is the problem, when infact it is the model. Also, i should mention that if you plan on redoing the model, you will have to have the authors permission to do so. Another option would be to use the "Leela_civ" model as it is similar to mara jade (hair, coat, ect). Good luck with getting your prog up and running-Peace!

Leela_Civ is also a JK2 model, so it will have the same problems the Mara Jade model has.

If you feel like re-rigging it, sure...

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

I downloaded 3ds max 7 & 8 but the glm importer doesn't work with these versions, & i tried softimage but i couldn't get a glm importer at all. It seems like an impossible task for me, is there anyone left out there that can convert this???
