i made a blaster pistol replacement model recently. the third person view works fine, shows up exactly where it's supposed to be in the hand, muzzle flash oriented correctly, but the first person view is just.. not there. it's not textureless, it's not the old blaster pistol model, it's just plain invisible. blaster_pistol_hand.md3 tags SEEM to be oriented correctly because the muzzle flash is exactly where it's supposed to be, which i'm assuming means the blaster_pistol.md3 model itself IS there. so i'm not sure why it's showing up invisible. i've done a search on multiple forums for this problem and have found a few threads where other people have experienced this as well, but none of them seemed to be resolved. so i'm forced to resort to this: "Help me, Filefront, you're my only hope."

Makes no sense to assume that, as you might have a tag_flash in your _hand.md3 as well.

All-in-all, it's pretty impossible to help with the information given, so please post a pic of your _hand.md3 and your blaster_pistol.md3 when viewed in MD3View, both with the tags showing (View -> View Origin (model axis and tags) or Alt+O).

If you don't have MD3View, it's part of the Jedi Academy SDK and can be found here: Jedi Academy SDK (MP) Download, Jedi Knight 3 Others

well, i assume it because when i make a blaster_pistol.md3 without a tag_flash, the muzzle flash appears at the bottom right corner of the screen instead. i'll post some screens in a bit.
