yes I think its possible to make a ranged weapon like that. and fix the tag to the right postion where the staff shoots. as for a saber that can shoot, I really want to know if somebody can do that:eek: Is it possible to use Tavion's staff in a game? and how it works:lookaround:

Saber's can't shoot.

You can use the Scepter as a saber, but you can't use any of Tavion's abilities. It's just another saber model.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

I see:uhm: Darth Zion, I downloaded some Quake3 models too and don't know how they works. I think the key is to make caps for them..

Although, by attempting to use Quake 3 models for JKA, you're actually porting, which is something you really shouldn't be doing...

hmm it isn't porting if they are already in the original game isn't it? JKO,JKA,EF and manny more are sold as stand-alone games but are all using the Quake 3 Engine. so if i would want to use a quake 3 model in jka i wouldn't consider that porting.

But if i would want to take a model from kotor and put it in jka that's what i would call porting.

Porting is defined as converting resources from one game to another.

JKA may be based on the Q3 engine, but last time I checked, it was a different game.

And your argument is still invalid anyway, since JKA doesn't actually use the Q3 engine - it uses a highly modified version of it, so in essence it's a whole new engine. :p
