CrashmanX;4619916Yes VERY very true.

the FOC darktroopers were taken from the actual source material (Darkforces I) while GB.....i donnot know. Not to mention that the FOC darktroopers also have all 3 phases. PLUS, i saw the pic and well, it looks like an attempt for making a phase 3. but i cant be sure as i cant make it out too well.

FoC dark troopers didnt make sense to me 1) Phase III dark trooper was a prototype with only one working model (used by Mohc and destroyed by Kyle) 2) Lolwut chain gunning Dark Troopers

GB is a better basis, looking good so far.

Galactic Battlegrounds is sprite-based. It's pretty hard to get sprites to look like any 3D source materials, tbh. :uhm:

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Well, these all look pretty good to me. Any plans to have the Snowtrooper or the Phase 3 Dark Trooper (General Mohc version)? Just thought I would ask.

I have already recommended them not to make Phase 3 simply because weighting it properly would be quite impossible due to shitty jk3 skeleton. Sure they could weight it with lots of clipping but what's the fun then...

There's nothing wrong with the skeleton. It's the fact that we can't edit the skeleton by adding or removing bones, that's the downfall of many good...and bad model ideas.

you could always give it a new skeleton and new animations, isnt as hard as everyone makes it out to be, the rockettrooper has its own skeleton and animation set.

Yes, good luck making about 20.000 animation frames.

you obviously know nothing about animation, if your using non-linear software, e.g. 3ds max, XSI or maya you dont need to key every frame, besides IK animations are simple to do as long as you make the skeleton correctly, which when im done with the textures ill demonstrate...
