If someone wanted to do it, then I'm sure one thread would have sufficed...

Actually you've made 2 or 3 other threads. Give it up. It's not like it costs money to make the model so that's no excuse. You know, first you requested it. Then you made a new topic saying you would do it but keeping up with a "But someone else can do it if they want to" thing and now you're still saying "Oh I don't have any time or money but if someone else wants to do it COUGH HINT WINK NUDGE". Get a clue. Nobody's interested. :|

A. There are 4-5 recommended programs and ONE of them costs money. B. Then you're shit out of luck. C. You probably don't have the mental capacity either. Qed, biatch.

¡Oh mi dios, tal violencia! ¡Por favor, llanura tranquila! ¡CPIENSE EN LOS NIÑOS!

Gmax is free modeling software, you could probably merge the models in that and ask somebody with 3DS Max to weight, rig, compile and whatever else Gmax can't do.

www.turbosquid.com/gmax

You can also try the free version of XSI, that's what minilogoguy uses I think. Not sure if it can do player models though. There's a link to it in the Tutorials thread, which is located in the Master Sticky.

You can still edit the models in Gmax, you just can't rig them, weight them etc... If you tried opening a model and it failed, then it's probably some other issue. I imported Desann's model into Gmax with no problems whatsoever.
