Well, I don't think this legal for the authors of the mod OJP, but I don't think it is when you want to mod it yourself, and not publish it, but I wanted to know if there is any way to have weapon holstering, like when you pick up a weapon (ie: a bryar pistol) it shows up on your character holstered, and put that same thing in Xmod.. For one, because I already tweaked Xmod so it has fast projectile speeds, and more realistic damage for projectile weapons, since I only use guns in Xmod, this weapon holstering mod will add to my replay value. :cool: :rolleyes: Hehe. Well, thanks again. But I will understand if this is not allowed, just don't flame me with "OMFGZ HAX U CAT DUN TAT U ILLGAL HAXORRRZ!!! I REPART U!" =p

hmm I have teh OJP holster mod seperated (tried to submit to JK3 once but didnt work for somereason) ill re-submit it to JK3files if you want to try it out.

Haha yeah, I use it mainly because it lets you modify the projectile weapon speeds and damage really easy by an Rcon command, so I don't have to code anything using C++ and what-not.. lol (Example: I type in "/x repeater_vel 5" and the repeaters bullets go really slow, and i can see how they look like lol. Or I can change the 5 to 8000, as i have it and they go really fast, and more realistic. The default setting for JKA is 300, so you can figure how much faster I got them.. lmao

Edit: oh and if it won't let you summit to JKAFiles, can you send me a link elsewhere that I can download it? :)

Mb2 is great..fantastic even,..... but i wish there was a choice in the server configs for server owners to disable, the one life per round thing, and make the respawning like ordinary siege.

well if you opened your eyes you would see the sig contained mb2, and as far as OJP is concerned the OJP guys would only be to happy to help you as all their stuff is open source, just give credit for what ever you use. The OJP modders are a great bunch of guys.

Just because your sig contains mb2 doesn't mean you have to talk about it in a completly unrelated thread.

Anyway, i think it's something to do with that file called trueview.cfg, not 100% on that though. As suggested, just ask OJP.

True view is used in mb2 and ojp, it is when first person is actually a camera angle from the characters eyes, so if you look down you can actually see your player models feet and the weapon your holding. I don't think this is what you want. its quite cool, as for the holsters i believe it is a part in the code to enable it with a cfg to show where it represents on your body. so i recommend if you are not going to release it downloading the ojp SDK and checking out the cfg's in its assets.

so to do what you want you would need to learn coding as well as having ojp and xmod's SDK and adding in the holster,

I think thats what needs doing, if anyone knows I'm wrong please say
