Well instead of relealeasing half-assed maps, which i've done 3 of so far, i've decided to make this thread for screen shot purposes and for the others to comment on the details so far so i can improve, first up is the Egg Carrier V2, and yes its Dr. Robotnik's ship in SA. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c283/omegasigma/shot0000.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c283/omegasigma/shot0001.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c283/omegasigma/shot0002.jpg I am well aware the shape where the spring boards are isn;t correct yet, i had it correct before but it didn;t draw in game. spring boards are finctioning and when done will have the same SA style graphic on them. I am also constructing a power plant based off a local one's design http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c283/omegasigma/tpco1.jpg sadly both maps suffer from compilation errors, so far guess is needed portals

Theres little to say for updates, rather that i've returned to mapping school for some much needed enhancements, and am learning from 2 other mappers. my biggest project, Castlevania, which has been underwraps for nearly a year is still progressing but i am not mapping it, i'm only directing the project with Darth Zion, also i need to learn to made draw portals or something along those lines since the engine has issues drawing huge distances. and fails to compile sometimes

Firstly, i'm only using attachments at this time cause photobucket is down for maintence, secondly you'll notice this isn;t a racing map, nor a sonic or mario map. and yes i realize my snow is to dense, abd my trains are low detail at this stage in time, i'll fix that later, this is based off another game where i got the original idea from, and this something i've never done either as I strive to get better in mapping. let me knwo your thoughts, some may remember a map like this. minor updates. I've been busy juggling maps, and learning new things as i go, which is likely for the better, such as using good ol caulk to help that well needed framerate. anyways newer textures are being used, some i admit are bad size for this but i'm no texture artist either. [ATTACH]55273[/ATTACH] back to the trains, and soon their final version since all the basics are done, all is left is to dump some good detail into it as well. this map is part of a bigger whole so i'll work that in later, and i'll try to use as many custom matching textures as i can,

Megaman Legends is the only good Megaman, in my opinion that is, I just couldn't get into the rest. I love how in both game's he walks in on roll and does his lil emote when he get's out of the room. And The Tron Bonne's, like Bazel or something is your avatar picture...good classic games.

hmmm.... omega, you like mansions and stuff, right? i wonder if you could possibly map vorridor's mansion from legacy of kain: defiance. now that would be challenging.

Vorador's Mansion?! My god, combined with the models out, add a vorador model, and this map, and we got a nice lil LoK Mod :P

I have a question Omegasigma. Are you using the same techique that the creator of the map Crazytrain used for your train map? You know making the textures move.
