Here I go again, with the age-old Zero request.

As many are aware, 2 models on TurboSquid exist that represent Zero in 3D glory. The only problem is: Nobody's ever tried rigging them, and it seems all attempts at bringing Megaman characters to Jedi Academy, be they sword wielders or not, have either died or the files were lost in a random HD crash (how many times have we seen that by now?)

I did some research and comparison with the Renamon model, and in my opinion, this particular Zero model would be, with some optimization and trimming of verts & faces that won't be seen in-game, quite a fitting candidate. I've took the model myself and gave it the JK3 default bind pose, and when put side-by-side with other models, the only issue I can see with the model is that it may be a bit short, but not by much. Otherwise, I think he would fit well with the JK3 skeleton better than most anime characters would.

As for the issue of "not fitting in", remember, Zero's primary (and presumably favorite) weapon is a sword, so a hack-and-slash character going into a game where the majority of online and offline play is slashing stuff with a Lightsaber makes me think that there shouldn't be any problems with Zero being in JA.

And yes, I know someone else has made Megaman player models before, but here's an additional fact: He never released them.

Whoah. I like NEVER play any Megaman games, but I know thats not the real good looking Zero. Heh. I'm surprised though, its free. I guess you could make a good texture for it, then manipulate the vertexes.

If you need any resources, I'd be glad to help. I'm also somewhat familiar in the X series art style, so I could help, to some degree, with texturing.
