I downloaded XSI and was going to use it to mix and match parts from 2 different models, but for the life of me I couldn't seem to figure out how to import them. The import option didn't seem to support anything from the folders I extracted from assets.

Is there a different program better suited for this? Am I missing a step? Am I even using the right buttons?

you arent telling us which buttons you use and in which format you got the files, so its kinda hard to tell you what to do

I'm using the import button under File, and the model file is the .glm that came out of the assets folder

So basically, you need a glm importer for XSI which I have no idea if there is one.

There isn't, I'm sure one could be made if someone knew someone who knew how to make .addons for XSI since the ghoul2 format is old and the code is probably floating around the net somewhere.

You can import .glm to blender, and if you want I can do that for you and send you back .xsi, .obj, .md3, whatever.

If they are baseJKA models, you can get them in .xsi format from JK3files.com - helps if putting Lando's head on a Jawa is your thing.

This might just be my Mod Tool but I can't get a 3.5 (JA) model imported properly, only 3.0 (JO). If this is the case with other people, then importing Raven's JA source .xsi models won't work.

Where exactly? I've looked through the models sections and they don't seem to be there.
