Im trying to make a mirror, and i saw a tut on mapcraft, but couldnt make it work, could someone please post a small summary of the process?

The tutorial is your summary. Go over it again. Try and figure out what you did wrong. Fix it. Try again. And again.

U can copy it from a map where it is :P Btw it is not so hard ;)

what maps have it? its not like all the mps are in .map files

i think my problem is what texture do u use?

You have to use textures/system/portal I believe.

You must have an own shader for it. Take it out from Jedi's Home JL2. The mirror is a camera, that shows backward. Copy it from that map and put the camera next to the screen :D

Hmm? I've done mirrors with system/portal before and it works fine. I've never had to make my own shader before...

I don't know it never worked for me... I had to copy it from Jedi's Home JL2....

Most downloaded map on jk3files, its a must-have. But really, I looked back at a map I made about two weeks ago to test this: Map-Craft » Forums » JK scripting & shader area » Reflective water shader?

and I used system/portal with a misc_portal_surface (must be within 64 units I think) and it worked fine.
