Have any of you played Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast? Well i sure did..and one of my favorite maps was Forbidden Twilight..I was wondering if anyone would be able to convert that to Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy...and if anyone doesn't have the time or simply just doesn't want to, could you at least give me guidelines to get mapping started..I've always liked and been interested in mapping..just never have been able to figure it out..:0wned:

Depends. First, you need to contact Evader (alencepin@vip.hr) for permission to do this and the source map. Then you'd have to change all the JO entities in it to the JA entities. Unless of course you can't contact him. Then forget it, since decomiling is a lot more trouble than it's worth.

Check the sticky. It's at the top of the forum and read the tutorials for mapping.

why dont you just put the map of jo in your base folder in JA..and the extract all the textures from JO and put them in a small pk3 file..and put that pk3 file also in your JA base folder? its that simple
