I recently created a mod where you can play as Raiden from Metal Gear Solid using a great model a fella did. Including the cutscenes. And his lips move also. I know some people hate raiden but as a Jedi he looks cool. Images attached But one problem. When you get to the hoth level he's just one big shiny greay no texture mess. Must be cause he has no hoth winter wear. Anyone have a clue what to do? Thanks, and I'll upload this mod as soon as I work out the bugs.

You need to take into account that for the Hoth level the skin changes. I believe the defaults are lower_e1.skin and torso_g1.skin. Just copy your normal lower and torso skin files and rename them appropriately. That's the simplest way to do it.

Can I get some more detail on that?

I assume you've got "torso_a1.skin," "lower_a1.skin", or something similar? If so, make a second copy of these .skin files and rename the torso one "torso_g1.skin" and the lower body one "lower_e1.skin". If you're confused about this you can feel free to contact me on MSN.

That was easy, thanks man. You guys really know your stuff over here. Here's another question if you got the time, I recently created a single player mod with a model that has no mouth animation, is it easy enough for someone to import a mouth animation script into max?
