As you all know, I am still working on that dagobah map. There's a few problems that I'm having trouble with. One, I can't make it darker at all inside this cave that you walk in. I tried creating thousands of negative light enities but it would get any darker at all. Is it because of my world spawn sun shader enitiy that I typed. Also when you walk inside this cave, it still rains, how do you get it to stop raining. One more thing to, I'm trying to add some fog above the water because thats how I saw it in the move, but all that does is create a bunch of white border lines around the tree's and land bases but no fog. Whats the best way to add fog to a map.

1: Is the color in the cave the same as the sunlight? 2: You either create outside brushes where theres outside or inside brushes where theres inside. Do NOT create both types. 3: Did you use the small "fog" texture or something else? If you didnt succeed with one fog try another texture.

Did you even run the compile with a lighting compile?

If I'm not mistaken, negative lights don't subtract brightness, only color. If you have a minlight value in the map, you may want to adjust that to a much lower value.

About the fog - use a darker shade of white and it won't look nearly as bad. Make it more like a light gray, and it will make the trees into light-colored silhouettes rather than whitewashing them.
