recently i have been screwing around in the base folder trying to add effects to the push and pull power, no luck, cant find anything relating to it that i understand, i wished to add effects, e.g. the effect from a repeater's alt fire. any one had experience in this type of thing?
found something, a shader gfx/effects/pushblur and pushblur.efx, but i dont know how to edit either of them (how do u modify a shader?)
Don't bother with the shader for now. Get the MP SDK and open some .efx files in EffectsEd and start playing around, that's how I learned.

Um... I might be wrong but the shader makes any pushing effect to be transparent. So if you want your effect to be visible, not a bluring circle, you must delete/replace the shader.
i want a blur circle with the effects, messing with EffectsED now( pretty cool) but do they apply to singleplayers too?
uhmm, well to edit effects, use EffectsEd (Or notepad) To change what force push/pull uses, it's in models/_humanoid/animevents.cfg. If you search for forceblur in there, you'll see the animation (the push one), the frame number, the location on the body and the effect. You could change that if you wish, so like adding some extra effects on, if you wanted.
