I was curious, what games besides JK3 and JK2, use the quake 3 engine?

Soldier of Fortune 2, Call of Duty (I think), Quake 3 (obviously), Elite Force... those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Don't forget FAKK 2 and A.M.'s Alice.

Also the Medal of Honor series and Doom,

All of the Doom games (I assume you were referring to Doom 3) use their own proprietary engines. However, the Doom 3 engine was initially based on quake 3 code that was stripped of everything save a few lines for the ui and such, and then completely rewritten almost from the ground up.

Releasing a commercial game based on the q3 engine these days would be taking the (urine) somewhat, after all the poor thing's getting on for 6 years old now.

Half-Life was based on an extensively modified Quake 1 engine, with some Quake II code and in-house AI and skeletal system, among other things.

Yea, I know Doom and Half-life don't use it.
