Is it possible to setup a cfg that lasts for a duration of time before reverting back to the previous state?

Yep. Do your script, then add the command wait [number] and under it exec [name of the cfg that this is]. keep in mind that the wait number is frames.

I should have been a little more specific, sorry. What I was trying to do was create a cloaking device that would shut off after a certain period of time. I was trying to make it something that the player could control, yet they couldn't use it for an extended period of time.

So is the concept too difficult for me to possibly finish?

Unless you can program, I'd say so.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Well, if I were to program it what would I need to do?

None of us here are programmers, so we couldn't tell you what you'd need to code in.

Ok, well thanks for the help. I suppose I can always use the cloaking device in multiplayer if I feel the need to disappear. Something strange I noticed though was that they removed the inventory from the single player mode but still had it in multiplayer. Why did they do that?

Beats the hell outta me.

It might have something to do with the fact that they removed all the inventory items from the game, but left the code in for multiplayer because some people still used them.

Also, I believe some classes in Siege have inventory access. If so, it would have been easier to leave the code active, than to go through the pain in the butt process of selectively disabling it.
